Well, here we are almost at the half way point of Movember and things are starting to get a little itchy. To be honest, I think the moustache looks terrible and to date I've only raised in the neighbourhood of about $200.00 so far - I'm not going to single-handedly cure prostate cancer at this rate. Oh. Just a sec - phone ... wow. As it turns out that was a scientist calling saying that my recent donation had somehow pushed them over the top and they had gone ahead and found a cure. Ah well, I've gone this far -- might as well stick it out for another couple of weeks. Once again, you can help out by clicking the dealio over there in the sidebar - thanks in advance. OK - let's get this update out of the way:

Man - I really am a vision - ain't I? In case you are wondering what exactly the deal with my get up is - well, that's the second part of the post. Which is starting now. Like right after this sentence which will end with the period right now. You see, I got my torchbearer uniform delivered a couple of nights ago and tried it on last night (due diligence only) when the picture was taken. I'm not even sure that I'm allowed to show it off, but I cannot see the harm - and it really is a sight to behold. Seeing as you actually have to click to read this part of the post, which likely eliminates 90% of the people who come by ... well, consider this my gift to you ...

I'm really hoping that the fact that I will no longer have a moustache and will be running with the Olympic flame but take away from the overall dorkiness of the entire package pictured above. Hard to say. Either way, I'll be there on Dec. 22nd with pride and patriotism all mixed up into my dorky frame. Major props to my little sis who left this comment under the picture when I posted it earlier on Facebook:
Lookin' good [Canucklehead] but is [Mrs. Canucklehead] really gonna let you outside like that? Isn't she worried about the "Axe"-like effect-screaming girls chasing you down screaming?
Man, she nailed it, eh? I suppose that will help ensure that the torch makes it to Vancouver on time - I mean I imagine I'll have to be beating the ladies off with the torch en route but you can bet I'll be hauling ass! I'll leave you with that visual and hope you all have a great weekend.
CHEERS!
