... we're on the air, it's hockey night tonight ...
That's right ladies and germs - tonight kicks off the NHL season. Sure, I'm still coming down from the high that only the start of the NFL season can bring. However, like any good Canadian tonight is a special one. I am even more pleased because for at least the next 20 minutes my beloved Leafs are still undefeated. Actually, there are tied 2-2 with Montreal in the second intermission so I'll have to type and publish fast to ensure that is true.
You see, my favorite two teams are Toronto and whomever is playing against Montreal - so tonight's game is extra special! I may miss a bit of the third period but I'll catch most of it. I just had to post tonight even though I really did not have much to say. The truth is that starting another site (see previous post) is a LOT more work than I had thought. Of course, a lot of that is self-imposed because I fell it is important to get it up and running and publish constantly at first. In part to ensure that people keep coming back and secondly because I have set myself a goal to break into the Alexa top 100,000 by year's end. A lofty goal to be sure but - well, time will tell. Although things may be spotty for a bit, you have my word that my first site and true love of my web life is this site right here - and this blog specifically. Bear with me.
Things are crazy now. My wife is back at work, Nicholas is back at school - I'm still working full-time and attending university courses in the evening. What the real killer though is all the extra activities: karate lessons, yoga, Greek school, skating, swimming lessons - sure, most of these are not actually my activities but you can bet I'm there. That's not to even start on birthdays, weddings, play dates, and what have you - its madness. Oh, and of course .... oh listen to me! I'll shut up already - we are all busy - I get it.
I'm out - I think my hockey game is about to start. I was able to type a post in an intermission. Have you heard that some people actually plan posts in advance and then do crazy shit like proofread and check content after its done? It's madness! For those that are still reading (there's precious few of you - trust me) I have included a gift - well, it's just a picture - not much really. It was taken this past Saturday in our living room. It is the Canucklehead family all cleaned up and 75% of us are even happy despite the fact we had just returned from a LONG Greek wedding service. The reception was still to come - but thats a story for another time (read:never). Anyway, all the best and go Leafs go!

CHEERS!
