I (heart) Sandvox!

An amazing thing happened yesterday. I had a friend contact me out of the blue. Okay - well maybe that is not so amazing in itself, it is what they said to me: Hey man, I was checking out the website yesterday - it looks great! I'm wondering if you can help me with something!

That's right - they looked at this website here and thought I knew what I was doing. (You can stop laughing now.) Anyway, the truth is that of course I don't. I use Sandvox! So, I don't have to know what I am doing. I should have prefaced this by saying that this is no a paid endorsement. I have not 'sold out' yet! Not for any idealistic purity about the blog - just for lack of offers.

Anyway, as I've said before - when I reserved this domain name back in March I had no idea what I was doing. Now, six months and 5 1/2 million Alexa ranking higher - I still don't! If there is anyone out there who is thinking about starting a site and does not know what to do - make Karelia Software your first stop. I think I paid about $80.00 for Sandvox - but it was worth every penny. Well, their you have it - my first plug. I guess this way when I do shill a product it won't be so obvious.

While I'm at it - in the course of my work (not this - real work) I often work with other companies. I recently finished working with Nestle and was delighted yesterday to get a surprise gift pack in the mail. In short, there was chocolates, coffees, and all kinds of treats in there! This is more of a paid ad - because of course I did get all that awesome stuff. Anyway, they know who they are and I should add that they were a really great company to work with all this time.

On a final note, I will be dressing like David Suzuki for Halloween. He is a famed enviromentalist and from my home town. If you would like to dress like him yourself, go HERE - and to find out more about him and his foundation - well, go HERE!

That's all for now - happy candy day and keep your stick on the ice.
