CATCH THE FEVER! Here is my latest idea, now I'm not saying it is a good one, only that it is an idea and it is mine. In short to give all of us a boost in Google, Technorati, Alexa and all of their ilk. In short, I don't have a blog roll. It's not that homey don't roll that way as that I just don't really know enough bloggers. Anyway, this is not really a new idea but well - it cannot hurt.
Wait! Let me back up a minute. Let me start my telling everyone that my real first name is Lincoln. It' s not important to the plan - but it makes the title make sense. Okay, on with the show. So, I'm not revealing any spoilers when I say that all these programs who rate our sites LOVE when other sites link to us. What I'm suggesting is that if you link to my site - I'll link to yours. This is more just an exploratory stab to see who, if anyone would be interested. Of course, I'm hoping it is a HUGE success - but if not, well that's cool too. In short it is a free for all.
Now, you can link anywhere on my site - the homepage, this article or perhaps a video or joke you like. As well, use whatever you like as the anchor text. "This blog stinks" for example - beggars cannot be choosers. Then, drop me an email HERE or use any of the handy-dandy CONTACT CANUCKLEHEAD buttons conveniently located at the bottom of the pages and tell me where you want me to link and what you want me to say, if you care. Now, I'm not doing this every day, so the first post will be Sunday, November 3 (2007). I get your email by then - you make the first edition. It will be in a post like this and because I have my archives set for 25 - well, I'll probably have to do it again a month or two.

Lastly, I've considered that I have the most to gain from this. At the very least, I'll have a handful of sites linking to me and each of you will only have me. Well, I propose two things:
1) Once the list is out, start contacting each other and do the same
2) Have your own link party. If others decide to do it - not only will I participate but I will mention it here.
I'm thinking that if a Canucklehead like me can come up with this then clearly it has been tried before. And failed? I'm not sure but I suspect I'd be seeing a LOT more of these if they were wildly successful. Ah well, I'm willing to give it a shot if you are. Anyway, I'll be here. As always, keep your stick on the ice.
