This post is actually not about Movember. Don't get me wrong - it is a great cause and I'm happy to have the excuse to grow a moustache. Still, this post is about something I used to do a lot, and rarely do anymore. Something I forgot I missed. Sitting down with a beer or six with no purpose in mind and just typing. Which is what I'm about to do ... but first ... my moustache update ... only because I have it:
Okay, on with the show. First up ... football. Specifically the fantasy and pick 'em leagues I am in. How the hell am I doing so bad? It is just me our does everyone think that they are in fact picking the right teams and it's everyone else who is a moron that is just getting lucky? Mind you - I have my Bills handicap. That is to sat that against my better judgement I have to always pick the Bills. Christ they suck! But I'm a fan - what are you going to do? Which reminds me, who gave other people the impression that you are allowed to switch the team you are a fan of just because they suck? That's not allowed. You pick a team and you're stuck with them, win or lose, until you die. That's the way it works. Sorry about your luck. I mean, my favourite team in EVERY sport is just terrible but you don't see me switching it up do you? No - because its not allowed! Oh jeez - I just saw my schnoz in the picture above - is that in 3D or is it just the beer?
Next, Twilight. Seriously - what is the deal. Oh shit, that's all I had to say. Anyways, knock it off.
Oh crap - you're still here?! I started surfing around for inspiration and kinda forgot. Erm, let me grab a beer - be right back ... okay - umm, iPhone. Should I get one or no? Let me explain, I could not before because I work for a phone company here in Canada that did not have the iPhone and I was not going to switch carriers. Anyway, we now have it. I'm sticking with my current phone until like March or something so I have time to think about it but what say you? Here's the dilemma. On the plus, I have an iTouch now and LOVE it. The thing is awesome - I use it ALL the time. On the other hand, the cell phone does NOT get a lot of use around here and I'm trying to figure out the ... aw hell - forget it, I'm going to get one. Who am I kidding?
Okay, I'm out - it was fun while it lasted but I'm just beat. Thanks for sticking it out with me and my apologies that I didn't actually have anything to say. I tell you what, here's a present:
